Artshine is an innovative mobile art social enterprise devoted to creating a community where participation in the arts is available to people of all levels of income, ability or life circumstance.
Advantages of the job:

Curriculum and training in the ‘Artshine way’ are provided
$20 - $25 per hour for instructing time, $16 - $18 per hour for prep

To be an Artshine instructor you must:
- Speak French fluently (required for french positions)
- Have reliable transportation (Drivers License G preferred)
- Have experience working with children (preferred)
- Be able to paint and draw realistically (preferred)
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be available during lunch hours or after school during the week
- Be prepared to complete a Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

Exigences pour être un instructeur:
· Parler français (requis)
· Détenir un moyen de transport fiable (permis de conduire G est préférable)
· Expérience de travail avec les enfants
· Être capable de dessiner/peinturer de façon réaliste (préférable)
· Capacité de s’exprimer et communiquer facilement
· Être disponible sur l’heure de dîner et/ou après les heures de classe en semaine
- Fournir un relevé d’antécédents criminels original pour travailler dans le secteur vulnérable

Hiring: Artshine Sales Representative (Halifax and Area)
Artshine would be nowhere without its successful sales team. We’re seeking a qualified sales representative to help grow Artshine in each community we serve. The sales representative will have a strong understanding of Artshine’s programs and services and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way to organizations and school boards.
Objective of this role
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through prospecting, cold calling, presenting offers and closing
Responsibilities
· Manage and build prospect list
· Own, Manage and maintain CRM
· Fulfill all weekly prospect, cold call and presentation objectives
· Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business for school programs
· Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections
· Provide weekly statistics on sales objectives to leadership
· Coordinate with our Regional Managers to book on site presentations
Required skills and qualifications
· Three or more years of sales experience within a similar industry
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
· Proficiency with sales management software and CRM
· Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
Preferred skills and qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
· Bi-lingual is highly preferred
· Knowledge or experience with school systems is an asset
· Proven success rate at levels above sales quota
Note: This position will be partially remote but residence in or around the Halifax area is required as in-person training and regular meetings will be necessary.
